California Dreaming of China

cwsa-newsAfter witnessing the increasing success enjoyed by other Californian wines in the Chinese market, power player producer E&J Gallo has just entered CWSA 2015 in a bid to expand its presence throughout the region. The United States exports roughly $1.5 billion in wine each year, 90% of which comes from California. As the largest producer in the country, E&J Gallo makes approximately 25% of U.S. wine. The brands entries into CWSA 2015 will have it following the footsteps of other winemakers from California, including Beringer (the oldest winery in the Napa Valley) and Korbel (the largest producer of premium traditional sparkling wine in the United States) both of which have been awarded CWSA Trophies and Medals in past years.
