Argentina Honey and Wine Boosting Sales

This is good news for winemakers in Argentina, as Chinese consumers are already accustomed to purchasing goods from the South American nation, such as honey. Studies from the Wine Economics Research Center at the University of Adelaide in Australia confirm that this is a massive opportunity for Argentine winemakers, as China’s wine consumption is expected to grow by 60% by 2018, while wine imports from Argentina have risen an incredible 400% in just the past five years. And winemakers in Argentina are taking notice, such as one of the country’s largest producers Trapiche (CWSA 2013 Gold Medal Winner), which has decided to open an office in Shanghai.
